Explanation:
- "Free-floating" items are arranged in a list style (three styles over and four styles down in the Styles menu).  
- The "free-floating" effect is achieved by hiding the line which comes down from the boxes above.  
  This is done by selecting the lines and choosing a line thickness of "None" from the Line Thickness menu (Boxes menu).
  To see this, press Ctrl+A to select all boxes and lines in the chart, then choose a Line Thickness of 1 pt.  Click in the 
  chart background to see the effect.
